Our range of services includes the development and design of injection molds for all common thermoplastics—both unfilled and filled materials. This includes, in particular, short- and long-fiber reinforced thermoplastics, whose specific flow and warpage behavior we take into account in a targeted manner during mold design.

In addition, we provide expert consulting for the design and construction of molds for both injection molding and compression molding of thermosets, including glass fiber-reinforced systems and a wide variety of fillers.

A particular focus lies on glass fiber-reinforced thermoset components for automotive exterior applications. In this area, we have in-depth expertise in handling demanding material systems, especially with regard to the flow behavior of thermosets with short and long fibers ranging from 3 mm up to 50 mm (2 inches), as well as continuous fiber reinforcement. We understand the resulting challenges in mold design, fiber orientation, and component quality, and develop robust, field-proven solutions.

Furthermore, we support you in the analysis and correction of existing injection and compression molds. We identify the root causes of typical product defects such as warpage, sink marks, weld lines, or incomplete filling, and derive targeted optimization measures for both tooling and process. We are also highly familiar with specific issues related to knife edges and reinforcement rib areas based on practical experience.
